Ayonnah Tinsley
Ayonnah Tinsley is a 17-year-old advocate for STEAM education with her biggest achievement being publishing her first children's book titled, "This Is What an Engineer Looks Like". Her book shows younger students more diversity in STEAM careers. During quarantine, she has helped nonprofits and elementary schools with STEAM education through workshops and interviews with engineers.
A congressional award gold medalist and explainer for the air and space museum, Ayonnah uses her passion for STEAM to inspire more young women (especially BIPOC women) in STEAM.
