EMMA BUTLER
Emma Butler became aware of the lack of options in disability inclusive clothing and in particular, adaptive undergarments after her mother became chronically ill. After blogging about the best products for women like her mother, the Brown University art graduate decided to launch her own bra manufacturing business, Intimately, in 2019, having raised $20,000 through Kickstarter and $40,000 from a pitch competition. She is currently working on establishing a supply chain to source raw materials from France.
Emma is a passionate advocate for inclusivity and challenges her audiences to think about what inclusive design tangibly looks like.
